Wow, my first blog with Refuge Student Ministry.
So, after all this time... Youth Ministry again? WHAT am I CRAZY?
Yes, I stepped out of Youth Ministry feeling like the road was wide and so many amazing opportunities were awaiting me, and they WERE! AND they STILL ARE!
I was on the mission field, went to Ghana, Africa took the word of God in audio bible format and literally hundreds were saved! I kept thinking... oh HOW I love this, and how GREAT it would be to have teenagers on the field with me! (I had one, my daughter... and THAT was life changing)
But to bring more, What? WHY was I thinking this? Because STUDENTS MATTER and so does their destiny.
I traveled all over Northern and Southern California speaking at different venues. I love speaking and bringing the word of God to women and YES STUDENTS! Watching as the Lord changed lives right in front of me was So AMAZING!
Why? Because STUDENTS MATTER and hearing the word of God changes lives.
I began to be drawn back into the arms of Youth Ministry... and felt a tug on my heart...
IF NOT YOU... THEN WHO?
SEE, Students matter...
They are not the church of tomorrow they are the church of today!
As their lives are changed and their minds renewed by the word... they are the very ones who will go back onto their campuses and change their schools. They will go into the workforce and change the atmosphere carrying the very presence of God with them.
They will change their families from the inside out. Yes STUDENTS MATTER!
They will go to the Nations and bring Gods word to the their generation, with fire in their bellies and purpose in their hearts.
Students are hungry for the REAL, they are thirsty for a move of God in their generation that will literally change lives as they take the forefront of Revivalists in the Nations.
Students Matter, they are amazing, they are informed, they are seekers of Truth. They are destined for greatness, they hungry, they are valuable and they are teachable. What an incredible opportunity and an incredible time in history to impact a generation.
Yes, I'm back in student Ministry... WHY?
Because STUDENTS MATTER!
If NOT YOU... THEN WHO?
Taking the step to mentor, love, inspire, disciple and change the destiny of a young person is absolutely
worth it all.
